Ask which method fits each surface
Apple uses a low-pressure chemical system for roof cleaning and offers pressure washing for other appropriate exterior surfaces. Ask how the team plans to approach your particular materials. Tell them about known damage, existing coatings or areas requiring special care.
Discuss access and surroundings
Mention locked gates, pets, pool areas, nearby planting and any access restrictions. Ask the team what needs to be moved or prepared before arrival. Follow the instructions provided for your job, rather than applying a generic preparation checklist to every property.
Understand the scope before scheduling
Confirm which surfaces are included, whether gutter cleaning includes interior debris removal or exterior brightening, and whether paver work includes sealing. Ask what results are reasonable for the stains you have identified. Cleaning does not replace repairs to damaged roofing or exterior materials.
Plan maintenance around your actual roof
